In your first class, you will have 2 hours of weaving instruction on a prewarped studio loom. You will learn how to operate the loom and some nifty ways to make your weaving your very own creation. There is a materials fee of $4.00 per ounce for materials used.
Would you like to weave a longer piece or learn some new techniques? When you sign up for more than one class in advance, you can leave your project at the studio and continue on the next session, or take each classes' work home that day. To sign up for this, you must also have paid for another class in advance of the one you are taking. Please contact the studio to discuss this option, so that we can have a warp set and loom available for you. Materials fee: $4.00 an ounce.
When you purchase 4 2-hour classes at once, you will qualify for a free class. Classes must be taken within 60 days. when you purchase this option I contact you to schedule dates. When you sign up for this option, you also have the option to leave your project at the studio to add more length at your next lesson. Free class is the last one taken. Materials fee: $4.00 an ounce.
Learn to create your own warp utilizing several different methods. Each day will focus on a single method of creating dynamic, one of a kind warps to customize your Saori cloth even more!
You will weave off at least one short warp and go home with one to weave as well. Please contact the studio to schedule this class.

Want to play the day away? This is a super fun way to treat yourself. Schedule an intensive weaving session for one, two, or 3 days! You will have loom time from 9 am to 5 pm (7-8 hours of weaving time), with an break for lunch. Drinks available, bring your own lunch. Subject of your intensive can be tailored to what you wish. Popular choices are warping intensives where you learn to create your own custom warps, new techniques, or sewing Saori style. Please contact Sherrie to schedule.
2 hours instruction in sewing, from the basics on. Bring your own machine, and materials for sewing (thread, needles, equipment to maintain/clean your machine). Please contact Sherrie to schedule this time.
